In honor of Pete Seeger’s centennial (as well as No Depression’s tradition of highlighting one specific genre of roots music each year), the Summer 2019 issue focuses on folk music. A section of the journal is dedicated to Seeger’s history and legacy, including spotlights on a few forthcoming collaborations in his honor. The rest of the issue examines the intertwining relationship between folk and roots music.
